Wow….totally awesome. It was my dream to hike in the forest…so through your adventures..I can do dream-hiking.

Although I do try and do some mini-trails here in Northern AZ. They are beautiful and brimming with wildlife. Will try and see if I send you all a video or snapshots of one of my hikes.

Excellent post!

Peace.

Palatki Heritage Trek

The Sinagua or people of the red rocks arrived in Palatki around 650 AD. For 600 years they farmed and hunted antelope and deer. Visitors can take a guided tour of Indian ruins and an alcove with rock art and pictographs. The trail is a short easy hike of approximately 1 mile round trip to the ruins and 1/2 mile round trip to the rock art alcove. The alcove contains pictographs which are from the Sinagua and also from Archaic cultures, drawn some 6000 years ago.

Taken from Sedona Trails

( By the way, this is my fav trail, full of ancient history, beauty, and the amazing wildlife and trees ).

Hope you guys can visit and hike with me soon one day!
